We’ve had some new ideas for Mum’s The Blog this year, one of them being a new kind of Blog Carnival for Business Mums. Josie at Sleep is for the Weak has been running an incredibly popular Writing Workshop, with weekly writing prompts, for well over a year while Helen, from Business Plus Baby, launched the Business Mums Blog Carnival over a year ago. Our idea is to combine the two ideas and each month provide a business related writing prompt on one particular theme.
We thought this would a) be a great way to get lots of different perspectives on a single topic and b) help provide a bit of writing inspiration for anyone who might suffer from Bloggers Block. The topics will all have a business slant but please feel free to interpret the prompt in any way you like
So, without further ado, your prompt for January is GOALS.
You can write your post about anything you like – a specific business or personal goal, your list of goals for 2011, something you have already achieved and are proud of, or maybe something that is holding back from achieving your goals and that you need to change.
When you’ve written your post, email us the link at info [at] mumstheboss.co.uk. You have until Friday 4th February to send us your post and we will publish the Carnival, containing everyone’s blogs, the following week.
